A collaboration with the Death Wings Project
We believe in the power of creative expression about death and loss through the hands-on ritual of wing-making, whether you create solo or in community with friends, family or others.
This wing making toolkit was designed to explore what compassionate, hands-on creativity can offer as you navigate a death—be it a person, animal or something else.
“Often the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain.” ~Carl Jung
Creating mini-wings can support you to:
Honor & Memorialize a person or animal that has died or is dying.
Process & Mourn a significant change in your life.
Remember & Let Go of things that feel heavy or keep you stuck.
